Ugmolegacy

For several years, the Ugmos had many happy family moments. Aiden, even though he did not attend college, moved up the ranks in Law Enforcment quickly and achieved his Lifetime Wish. Captain Hero! Evidently, when a town needs a superhero, it cannot be too picky about his looks.













But suddenly, tragedy struck. After a long and loving life, Amar dies at 77.






He got his hula babes and a platinum grave too.



Esther was inconsolable.








She was immediately sedated and sent to bed. Her grief was so overwhelming,she could not even get dressed for the traditional family funeral dinner and eulogy.








Priscilla prayed her mother was not sliding into the dementia that overcame Marsha before her death. Perhaps it was a blessing that Esther died within days of Amar's death.

















As if to reassure his family, Amar, ever the loving family man, visited the family from beyond on the night of Esther's death. This loving couple are in paradise together now.

And the Ugmo cemetery is growing crowded.



Two generations of Ugmos RIP. From left to right, Marsha, Floyd, Sterling, Amar, and Esther. Even though Sterling gave Esther her daughter Priscilla, she refused to be buried at his side. Amar was her one true love.
